THE HARDWARE DECISION: What kind of display do I need?

The hardware decision is usually based on usage. Will the display be shipped UPS/FEDEX truck freight, or taken on the plane with you? The heavier the display, the more likely it will be shipped. If shipped, all display types are possible, if taken with you, only pop-ups or banner stands are possible.

Economy Displays

Graphics Displays

Panel displays

The panel display has been around a long time, but as it has counters and backlit headers, can be expandable, and is more load-bearing, it is still a good choice.  It is heavier, but easy to put up, and has a fully Velcro-able surface. Table top displays

When a full sized display is not needed, the table top is the choice. Taller table tops are more effective, but all are useful, if the message is right. The smartest thing to do before purchasing a table top is to determine that amount of space your message will require, and then purchase based on this. Here’s the tough part. You’ve got a great looking display, but is it attracting attention? Stick with the basics, WHO ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU DO? WHY SHOULD I TALK TO YOU?  If you stay with these three things, you really can’t go wrong. Less is better, and stay with messages that attract attention from those whom you really what to sell to.
